Key Responsibilities
- Serving as the primary contact for employee inquiries and issues.
- Resolving conflicts and handling employee grievances.
- Fostering a positive workplace environment and culture.
- Managing and administering performance evaluation systems.
- Advising managers on performance management and related matters.
- Creating and implementing performance improvement plans.
- Overseeing the entire recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
- Building and maintaining relationships with recruitment agencies and other talent sources.
- Ensuring compliance with equal employment opportunity regulations and practices.
- Updating HR policies and procedures to align with federal, state, and local laws.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure HR practices are effective and compliant.
- Keeping up-to-date with industry trends and regulatory changes impacting HR.
- Identifying training needs and coordinating employee development programs.
- Conducting new hire orientations and managing effective onboarding processes.
- Supporting leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
- Administering employee benefits programs, such as health insurance and retirement plans.
- Assisting in developing and implementing compensation strategies.
- Educating employees on their benefits and compensation options.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Over 5 years of experience in human resources.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices and employment laws.
- Proven expertise in employee relations, performance management, and recruitment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HR software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- **Bilingual skills are an advantage.**
- **Experience in payroll is a plus.**
