A GIVEN DAY OF WORK WILL LOOK LIKE:
- Performing field work including construction layout, topographic data collection, boundary research, ALTA surveys and utility research.
- Performing office work including boundary and control calculations, CAD LiDAR processing and extraction, field data processing and construction layout calculations.
- Assisting supervisor with completing tasks as assigned to deliver quality projects on schedule.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE POSSESSES:
- An Associate or Bachelor’s degree or higher in Surveying, Geomatics, Land Surveying or Surveying Engineering.
- Typically, zero (0) to ten (10) years of experience in a related field, but with limited certifications and no professional licenses necessary.
- A valid Driver's License.
- Thorough understanding of and ability to execute proper field survey procedures and techniques.
- Thorough understanding of mathematical calculations used in field surveys and the ability to identify mistakes in calculations.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
- Experience with operating field controllers and instruments including GNSS, Robotic Total Station and Digital Levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in teams and independently without supervision.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Bending, standing, stretching, and stooping.
- This position typically entails 50% field/office work and 50% job site work.
- Lifting/lowering of survey equipment that weights up to 40lbs.
