AWS/CES is seeking a Maintenance Technician for an Automotive Manufacturing client in Arden, NC.
Location: Arden, NC
Schedule: Direct Hire/All shifts available
Compensation: $22.50-$34/hr DOE
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks on facility systems.
- Respond to breakdown calls and provide basic troubleshooting.
- Manage and maintain oil and coolant inventory.
- Operate forklifts and other facility equipment safely.
- Ensure compliance with Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001) and Environmental (ISO 14001) standards.
- Track and record maintenance activities using established systems.
- Maintain department 5S requirements and assist with lean initiatives.
- Maintain systems to track, report, document, and assist with scheduled preventative maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Must have one to two years of experience in maintenance in automotive industries
- Basic knowledge of electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems to understand their operation and identify malfunctions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
