Job Summary:
Client is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to lead the design and implementation of technology solutions that drive innovation and efficiency within the insurance domain. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, .NET technologies, and a strong understanding of insurance processes. This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on experience in designing scalable, integrated solutions that align with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture design for enterprise-level applications and solutions, focusing on integration with P&C insurance processes.
- Design, implement, and oversee scalable solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, ensuring data architecture aligns with business needs and regulatory requirements.
- Provide architectural guidance for the development and optimization of .NET-based applications, ensuring compatibility with broader enterprise architecture.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business, including IT teams, product owners, and business analysts, to ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business objectives.
- Develop and implement enterprise architecture strategies that enable scalability, efficiency, and security, with a focus on cloud-based solutions in Azure.
- Ensure robust data governance and compliance with regulatory requirements, particularly within the P&C insurance sector.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools to support evolving business and technology needs.
- Provide thought leadership and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural best practices and enterprise standards.
- Create architectural documentation, frameworks, and roadmaps to guide long-term technology evolution.
- Ensure seamless integration of existing legacy systems with modern cloud-based platforms.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise architecture with a focus on cloud technologies and .NET platforms.
- Strong expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics and data architecture for large-scale, enterprise-level solutions.
- Proven experience in insurance (P&C) domain, with a deep understanding of industry-specific processes, workflows, and compliance requirements.
- Experience with .NET technologies for enterprise application development, including architecture for cloud-based and hybrid solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles, regulatory frameworks (such as SOC 2), and industry best practices for enterprise systems.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in cloud migration projects involving data warehousing, analytics, and application modernization.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps for managing pipelines and deployment.
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and API management.
- Experience working with insurance management platforms and integration of third-party systems.
