They are seeking a visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead their technology strategy and AI integration across their product lines.
About the Role:
- Lead the strategic vision and execution for integrating AI into medical devices, focusing on improving diagnostic accuracy, automation, and real-time data analytics. Ensure AI technologies are clinically validated, compliant, and seamlessly integrated into product ecosystems.
- Build and manage the company’s technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements. Foster an innovative, agile, and collaborative culture while driving the development of cutting-edge medical device technologies.
- Oversee the development of AI-powered medical devices from concept to commercialization. Ensure robust, scalable, and secure systems that meet the highest standards of quality and compliance (FDA, ISO, CE).
- Work closely with R&D, regulatory, clinical, and commercial teams to ensure the successful development and market adoption of AI-driven medical devices. Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
- Ensure all AI solutions and technologies adhere to healthcare regulations and standards, such as FDA guidelines, HIPAA, and ISO certifications. Stay ahead of industry trends to maintain compliance and drive innovation.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the AI strategy and technology roadmap for the company’s medical devices.
- Oversee the design, development, and commercialization of AI-powered medical devices, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Build and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of AI integration with business objectives and clinical needs.
- Ensure the development of scalable, secure, and clinically viable systems that meet medical device standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field; PhD is a plus.
- 15+ years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 5 years leading AI initiatives in medical devices or healthcare.
- Proven experience in integrating AI into medical devices, with a deep understanding of regulatory standards such as FDA, HIPAA, CE, and ISO.
- Strong background in AI/ML technologies, including computer vision, deep learning, and predictive analytics.
- Demonstrated experience building and scaling technology teams, especially in start-ups or high-growth environments.
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
