Our client, a prominent aerospace company, is seeking a highly motivated and passionate aerospace engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide engineering support for aircrafts in the final assembly line and experimental operations, particularly in relation to electrical systems, while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in supplier qualification activities, including environmental and EMI qualification reviews, ensuring that all conformity requirements are met for systems and equipment under compliance testing.
- Coordinate the development and approval of documentation required to meet certification standards, offering expertise to resolve non-compliance issues and supporting the release of test plans and reports in line with program milestones.
- Collaborate with Designated Engineering Representatives (DERs) to ensure compliance with technical, programmatic, and certification requirements.
- Provide on-site technical support for prototype development and production, acting as a sustaining engineer. Assist in the preparation, verification, and integration of certification plans and oversee activities to ensure compliance.
- Contribute to the electrical testing and analysis for the AW609 aircraft, demonstrating compliance with certification rules and coordinating with supplier qualification activities, following program priorities and best departmental practices.
