Estimator
Our client, a leading electrical contracting firm with a history of delivering complex and innovative electrical systems across various industries, is seeking an experienced Estimator to join their team. The ideal candidate will have experience in project estimation for large-scale commercial and hospitality projects, such as hotels, resorts, and casinos. Focus:
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical systems in large commercial and hospitality projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure accurate estimates.
- Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to provide comprehensive cost breakdowns.
- Utilize McCormick Estimating Software to generate precise project estimates.
- Track and adjust estimates as necessary based on project changes or additional requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, costs, and best practices in electrical subcontracting.
Skill Set:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the electrical subcontractor field with a high school diploma/GED OR a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with no prior work experience.
- Familiarity with McCormick Estimating Software is essential.
- Experience in Union Contracting is a strong plus.
- Prior experience estimating large commercial projects, including hotels, resorts, or casinos, is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills.
