Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure
Salary: $120,000 - $160,000
Location: New Jersey or New York, USA
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager – Infrastructure to lead and manage the delivery of Moves, Adds, and Changes (MAC) work and infrastructure projects at client sites. This role will be site-based and may involve overseeing multiple Data Center and/or Workplace Technology Services locations. The successful candidate will manage the entire project lifecycle, including commercial, contractual, quality, and health, safety, and environmental compliance. This position requires regular travel across the USA.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, handling design, operational, and financial matters.
- Manage the overall project Profit and Loss (P&L).
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly financial reports to the Operations Manager.
- Produce specific financial documentation to support each project.
- Compile and present monthly client reports for review by the Operations Manager.
- Plan and coordinate design, production activities, material procurement, and supply chain management in line with project timelines.
- Oversee resourcing requirements and manage third-party suppliers according to project needs.
- Develop and manage project handover documentation.
- Ensure all teams adhere to contractual, commercial, and quality responsibilities.
- Provide regular internal updates through meetings and reports.
- Transfer manufacturer warranties to the contracts team upon project completion.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and quality assurance standards for both internal teams and clients.
- Motivate and develop project teams, acting as an escalation point for internal resources and client management teams.
Requirements:
Essential:
- Experience in a banking IT environment.
- Background in data center and office Moves, Adds, and Changes (IT hardware deployment).
- Knowledge of structured cabling installation, fault-finding, and testing (using fluke test equipment).
- Strong understanding of structured cabling standards and cable types (FTP, UTP, and Optical Fiber).
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently and within a team.
- Extensive experience in project planning.
- Ability to deliver clear, concise client presentations.
- Experience managing multiple design and production sites.
- Proven ability to motivate and develop project teams.
- Experience delivering services under formal sub-contracts.
- Enhanced Disclosure level Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) approval.
Preferred but not Essential:
- Experience in physical security deployments.
- Experience with LAN/IPT and Wi-Fi deployments.
- Familiarity with migrations and moves/changes.
- Experience in financial and operational report writing and analysis for senior management.
