Job Description
***Only qualified OTM Business Support candidates located near the Atlanta, GA area to be considered due to the position requiring an onsite presence***
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree (minimum required)
Qualifications:
• 5 years of functional experience configuring, maintaining and supporting Client
• Troubleshooting experience related to order issues, shipment planning issues, bulk planning issues, rating issues, master data issues etc.
• Working knowledge of Client modules such as order management, rates, shipment management, equipment, invoice and voucher creation, etc.
• Ability to suggest/make Client configuration changes to support business users
OTM Business Support Overview:
The OTM Business Support Manager will support Client business users, such as transportation planners, procurement, carriers, settlement, logistics leadership, and others, in their day to day Client issues resolution with a comprehensive knowledge of functional areas of Client. Need ability to solve complex issues and troubleshoot within order management, shipment planning, bulk planning, invoicing and other areas of Client. They will liaise with business and IT to resolve system issues and be the primary point of contact for Client functional and system issues. The Suggest key process and performance improvement opportunities within Client identified during the course of support. Support Client users by conducting training sessions and maintaining job aids and transportation/ Client documentation.
Time Commitment and Scope of Work:
75% - Support Client Business Users:
• Triage day to day system issues and provide resolution for complex systems issues.
• Resolve Client related issues and identify root cause for problems to support transportation users.
• Engage Client IT Support as required and act as a liaison between business and IT.
• Monitor key systems, batch jobs and interfaces between Client and other systems.
• Resolve any Client EDI related issues to support internal teams as well as carriers.
25% - Update Client Support Documentation and Provide User Training:
• Update the current Client training documentation, Client support documentation, and update tracking logs of support issues.
• Support Client users by conducting training sessions on an as-needed basis and ensure the Client business users are following the outlined SOPs.
