Our client is an industry-leading law firm seeking a Legal Assistant to support the partners and associates in their Corporate/Transactional practices. The position is hybrid at their office in San Francisco, California. The position will be responsible for managing day-to-day administrative tasks and ensuring efficient operations in a fast-paced, collaborative, and professional environment.
Job Details
- Attending to all matters necessary to manage the day-to-day operations of the assigned partners and associates, including handling administrative functions such as answering, screening, and placing phone calls; opening and routing mail as directed; maintaining files, records, attorney calendars and time records; preparing attorney expense reports and travel arrangements
- Maintaining organized e-mail folders and keep attorney apprised of priorities
- Assisting in promoting business development through entry of activities, maintenance of contacts and assembling of mailing lists in InterAction
- Attending to matters necessary to support the client and matter opening process
- Handling all aspects of document preparation, processing and completion, working directly with attorney and clients.
- Working closely with the firm’s Billing team to ensure up-to-date and accurate client billing.
- Assisting with attorney personal work when required.
- Seeking out ways of being responsive to clients in a manner that demonstrates the ability to provide superior client service
- Performing responsibilities of other support services when needed, including but not limited to printing, scanning, duplicating, quality control, faxing and hand-delivering packages
- Demonstrating effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others
- Managing Firm resources responsibly
- Working collaboratively as part of the firm’s Business Professionals team
- Complying with and understands Firm operation, policies and procedures
- Performing other related duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors’ Degree required
- Corporate law experience required
- At least three to five years of relevant work experience, preferably in a professional services environment
- Experience working with a corporate/transactional practice is highly preferred
- Some paralegal experience preferred
- Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience with iManage, or a similar document management system
- Experience with time entry software and CRM systems (preferably InterAction)
- Experience with calendar, meeting, and correspondence management
- Demonstrated excellence in working in a white-glove, fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Demonstrates initiative, resourcefulness, excellent judgment, and a positive approach to work

Salary: $95,000 – 110,000k based on experience.
