There are 3 phases in this project with the following work breakdown
Phase 1 - Ideate
- Gather the following details to understand current state
- Architecture Physical and logical architecture designs across environments
- Integrations Source and target systems other integrations connector details
- Processes User Onboarding Joiner Mover Leaver Request Approval workflows Provisioning Reporting and Audits AuthN AuthZ Journeys MFA 3rd party access Privilege admins lifecycle
- Review end to end process or business function specific process and develop taxonomy
- Identify process areas with high security risks
Phase 2 - Identify Value
- Understand key elements of the current IAM solutions implementation
- Review clarify any identify potential gaps in IAM implementation documentation
- Key work processes indicating which ones wed like to transform via existing IAM Solution
- Critical customizations especially ones that will not work in the transformed rationalized solution
- Present industry best in class solutions for key design elements and work processes would like to transform via the transformed IAM solution implementation
- Benefits analysis what can gain from IAM solution rationalization transformation replacement
- Describing current and potential future state
- Value for Business Alignment Time to Market User experience Security Compliance Zero Trust enablement Availability
Phase 3 - Initiate Design
