Low Voltage / Data Center Technician

1-month Contract (October 28th - November 27th)
***This position is a strict 32-day contract. Onsite in Memphis, TN. Client is open for contractors to relocate for the month. Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.***
Full job description:
- Clean, Inspect, Patch and Certify Fiber Optic Cabling
- Basic knowledge of fiber optic cable types and connector types
- Core Skills: Proper installation and handling of fiber optic cabling
- Connecting pre terminated fiber optic cabling to patch panels and High Performance Compute (HPC) systems
- Testing fiber optic cabling with Certification Tier I Loss test equipment
- Using fiber optic scopes to inspect connector end faces
- Understanding of Data Center cabling standards and best practices
Required Experience Level:
- 1 year of experience working with Fiber Optic cabling and testing
- Able to lift at least +50 lbs. such as ladders, cabling and other equipment:
- Able to climb and work on up to a 10 ft. ladder for extended durations
- Able to sit, stand, bend, kneel and/or walk for long periods of time
- Available to work evenings, weekends, and overtime when required
