Job Title: Senior OSP Manager
Location: Lubbock Texas, in office fulltime

Job Description: The Sr OSP Manager is responsible for successfully executing assigned OSP fiber network design and implementation projects across multiple markets.
The Sr OSP Manager directs OSP Residents & Inspectors, who oversee the construction teams, to ensure that work is completed on time and within budget to the required standard. They will also provide updates to the entire team to strategically manage risk, monitor finances, provide the required status updates to the customer, and ensure each phase of work is delivered based on the schedule.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Oversees and drives the delivery of the overall OSP FTTH project, could be up to 12 projects concurrently.
- Monitor construction progress, oversee scheduling, and track budget to spending status.
- Primary interface with the client. Build strong working relationships by providing regular status updates, facilitating alignment meetings, and leading escalation discussions.
- Coordinate closely with Fiber Engineers and Designers to ensure design plans are understood and followed.
- Manages a dynamic and complex supply chain inventory of materials and logistics.
- Builds strong working relationships with construction vendors to ensure high-quality, on-schedule, and within-budget construction.
- Managing regular meetings with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to report on progress and manage risks.
- Ensures the detailed project plan is followed and drives the entire team to work together to achieve results.
- Working with Field Inspectors
- Writing contracts, reviewing bids, making vendor selection recommendations
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years’ experience as an OSP Engineer / Manger
- Previous work experience on fiber construction projects
- Currently possess or are pursuing a Professional Engineering Licensure, preferably in Texas.
- Must have experience working in the R.U.S (Rural Utilities Service). https://www.rd.usda.gov/about-rd/agencies/rural-utilities-service
- Working knowledge of OSP design and construction designs
- Experience with Mapping tools (Google Earth, GIS)
- Willing to travel 10-20% of the time
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience given detailed reports to both clients and management.
- Experience with AutoCad, Google Earth, of GIS platform
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Teams).

- Doing design work in AutoCad
Education: Degree: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, civil, or similar field of engineering.
