We are looking for a seasoned Environmental Project Manager and/or Senior Project Manager with a focus on air permitting and regulatory compliance to join our Environmental Services team. The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of industry experience in air quality and environmental regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and review air permit applications for new and existing facilities, ensuring compliance with relevant local, state, and federal requirements.
- Conduct and assess emission calculations for various projects.
- Analyze and interpret regulatory frameworks to determine compliance needs.
- Prepare and submit mandatory compliance and regulatory reports in accordance with permit conditions.
- Evaluate emissions testing data and provide insights.
- Advise clients on compliance strategies and pathways for ongoing regulatory adherence.
- Maintain regular communication with clients and regulatory agencies to ensure project alignment.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to assess compliance.
- Contribute to proposal development for new projects.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder relationships, including clients, regulatory bodies, and vendors.
- Mentor and support junior staff development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental, Chemical, or Civil Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) certification is desired.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental consulting, with a primary focus on air quality management.
- In-depth knowledge of air quality regulations, including but not limited to NSR, Title V, PSD, NSPS, NESHAP, and BACT.
- Ability to work independently, including in remote settings as needed.
- Capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously with strict deadlines.
- Familiarity with other environmental programs, such as stormwater, wastewater, waste management, and due diligence, is advantageous.
