Thank you for stopping by to take a look at the .net role I posted here on LinkedIN, I appreciate it quite a bit.
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Tom Welke. I am Partner & VP here at RSM Solutions Inc and I have been recruiting technical talent for a long long time (22 years) and been in the tech space since the good ol' days of the 1990s. I say this because, yep, I am a real, live, breathing person writing this JD...so, no bots, no AI, just a guy doing his best. You will see some humor scattered in this JD...so, if you see something that gives you a chuckle (or perhaps roll your eyes), that was the intent.
So, with just about every role I work on, that social fit is - in many cases - just as important as the technical fit. You might ask 'so...Tom, what are those social fit things you are speaking of?'. Well, I am glad you asked. Here are some of those characteristics:
- This client is not a highly dramatic place. So, this isn't a place with backstabbers or individuals with hidden agendas. So, please save your drama for your mama. This is an environment that is best for people who have fun, and get along with the other kids in the sandbox.
- This is a relatively small environment as well. So, that ability to share your knowledge, try stuff (and share what you find), and ask good questions are all things that will gear success here.
This role is being done onsite in Elkhart, Indiana. So, I can only work with candidates that are already within driving distance to Elkhart, or are willing to relocate to the area for this role.
I can ONLY work with US Citizens or Green Card Holders for this role. I cannot work with H1, OPT, EAD, F1, STEM or anyone who isn't - already - a US Citizen or Green Card Holder for this role.
Here is what we are seeking for this role.
This role will mix .net, Sql, and SalesForce development. Yep, I know that is a lot to ask in one person. But, if you are stronger in one area and not as strong in the other two, that should be ok.
You will be doing all those nifty things one would expect to see in a .net or SalesForce dev role. Analyze, design, test and implement web apps, generating reports (that's where the Sql piece comes in), work on business processes, document (yep, documentation is a key here), resolve errors in the code (ah yes, that wonderful world of troubleshooting), and work on requirements gathering.
You will be spending time with end users in this role as well (as you might expect). So, that nifty desk side manner will be needed for this role as well.
Here is what we are seeking:
- At least 2 years of Sql experience (triggers, stored procedures, replication).
- At least 1 year of SSRS.
- At least 3 years of .net web app dev experience
- Exposure to SSIS
- At least 2 year of SalesForce Development experience
- Any experience working in a manufacturing environment would be fantastic to see
