Our client, a leading security systems company with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a Vice President of Commercial Sales & Business Development to spearhead their expansion into the commercial market space. Already an established provider of home and small business security systems, they are looking for a visionary leader to drive growth in the small and medium business (SMB) market, as well as select vertical markets.

What You’ll Do:
- Drive commercial revenue, profitability, and cash flow.
- Develop and execute a strategic business plan for the commercial market including SMB, mid-market, regional, and vertical markets (e.g., K-12, higher education, municipal).
- Lead efforts to enter the SaaS services market.
- Set and meet aggressive but achievable sales targets.
- Build and develop a high-performing commercial sales team.
- Work cross-functionally with marketing, operations, HR, and the executive team.
- Represent the company in the community and industry.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of commercial sales and leadership experience in the security systems industry.
- Proven success in growing commercial sales teams and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience with design, proposal, and integrated solutions for commercial security systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-transaction environment.
