Evans Fears Schuttert McNulty Mickus, a litigation firm with offices in Nevada, California, and Colorado (www.efsmmlaw.com), is seeking a full-time associate attorney in our Las Vegas office to assist with all phases of litigation.
Our ideal candidate is a Nevada-licensed attorney with 3-7 years of litigation experience with: (i) strong research, writing, and analytical abilities; (ii) solid organization skills and the ability to appropriately prioritize tasks; and (iii) the ability to learn quickly, communicate well, and show initiative.
Principal duties and responsibilities will include legal research and factual investigation; drafting legal memoranda and all varieties of pleadings and motions; coordinating with expert witnesses and consultants; drafting strategic offensive discovery and responses to defensive discovery; taking and assisting with the preparation for depositions; managing all phases of document review and production; and preparing for and trying cases.
Prior experience in product liability litigation is a plus. Trial experience also a desired attribute.
