We are seeking a skilled Oracle Technical Consultant with hands-on experience in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) and a strong understanding of complex OCI environments.
Job Title: Oracle Technical Consultant
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize Terraform and Stacks for scripting repeatable tasks such as provisioning, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery.
- Implement and monitor OCI security, including Ingress/Egress Rules, Security Lists, IAM Policies, IAM Domains, etc.
- Manage Oracle workloads and assess their suitability for OCI, with a focus on OCI network and security design to support high availability and disaster recovery.
- Deploy multi-tier applications using OCI IaaS and PaaS services (database, compute, storage, backup, network, security, load balancing) to optimize application performance, security, and availability.
- Develop scripts in Python, Shell scripting, or Go to automate tasks.
- Apply cloud security controls, including tenant isolation, encryption (at rest and in transit), key management, and vulnerability assessments.
Optional/Preferred Skills:
- Experience with Docker, OCI Kubernetes Engine (OKE), and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
- Understanding of OCI networking, including FastConnect, VPN, and Local/Remote Peering, and familiarity with third-party network devices in OCI architecture.
- Knowledge of database monitoring/alerting solutions such as OEM, AppDynamics, Splunk, or similar tools.
- Experience working in an OCI environment related to Oracle ERP, Oracle EPM, databases, and middleware.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with Terraform and OCI.
- Familiarity with OCI security and networking best practices.
- Proficiency in Python, Shell scripting, or Go.
- Strong understanding of cloud security controls.
- (Optional) Experience with OCI-related technologies such as Docker, OKE, and CI/CD tools.
