The Tech Lead (Senior Software Engineer) will research, design, develop, configure, integrate, test and maintain existing and new applications and/or integrate 3rd party developed applications with internal systems. Responsible for conducting, and coordinating software development activities
throughout various projects, including key design decisions. Candidate will work closely with
Application Architects and business SMEs and will be reporting to the IT Manager Digital Maintenance.
Principal Responsibilities:
o Design, Code, debug and Develop batch-oriented file processing & application development.
o Document key SDLC processes by producing formal documents like Solution Architecture Document
Technical System Design Specifications, etc.
o Software analysis, code analysis, requirements analysis, software review, identification of code
metrics, system risk analysis, software reliability analysis
o Collaborate with 3rd party vendors and develop suitable integration solutions
o Conduct formal and informal training and learning sessions with Team members.
o Provides near to accurate estimates (Resource / Time) to Management for work activities
o Participates in troubleshooting complex issues and resolving defects
o Provide technical thought leadership and be a strong collaborator with domain SMEs, application
architects and senior development teams and management
o Adopt new and emerging technologies to provide solutions to client needs
o Participate in various Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews.
o Mentor and assist Scrum team members in accomplishing their assigned tasks and removing any
impediments.
o Perform Code Review sessions with the development team to improve the quality of the system /
Processes developed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
o BS/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems and/or equivalent formal training or
Experience:
o 1+ Year of experience in developing and implementing ReactJS SPAs.
o 10+ years of experience in Information Technology supporting development of complex projects
involving significant exposure to custodian review and risk systems
o Expertise in administering, integrating, orchestrating various resources on Azure
o Expertise in Design and Development of Web / Windows applications in various Microsoft technologies
such as (C#, VB.Net)
o Strong experience with SQL Server (DB Design, Query Optimization, Indexing)
o Experience with various Azure Cloud resources
o Experience with Azure Logic Apps.
o Experience with Azure SQL and Document-Oriented Database programs.
o Experience with PostgreSQL DB
o Experience with Agile development methodologies (SAFE)
o Experience with Version control, setting up CI/CD pipelines/Releases, using Azure DevOps services.
o Experience with QA Automation and integration with Azure DevOps CI/CD Pipelines.
o Familiarity with other Cloud computing services like AWS, GCP etc.,
o Familiarity with project management systems such as TFS/JIRA / MS Project / Excel.
o Ability to quickly grasp new technology concepts.
o Object-oriented Design and Analysis (OOA and OOD) concepts.
o Expertise in working with offshore developers is a nice to have.
o Excellent communication skills
o Good knowledge and experience with other vendor’s platforms, products, companies and
philosophies.
o Demonstrated expertise in collaborating in a matrixed architecture team delivering timely results.
