Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer (1st & 2nd shifts)

The Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer’s (1st & 2nd shifts) responsibility is to ensure the effectiveness of the company. This role’s primary responsibilities include analyzing, troubleshooting, and maintaining the manufacturing and facility equipment. This role requires the use of diagnostic tools and equipment. Additionally, the engineer will use welders, soldering and brazing equipment, mills, lathes, and other mechanical tools to perform repairs. Assisting with various facility support tasks may also be required.
1st Shift: 6:00 AM- 2:30PM
2nd Shift: 2:30PM -11:00PM

Focus:
- Maintain and repair production and facility equipment with precision and expertise.
- Interpret and analyze electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics with high accuracy.
- Install and manage air, water, and drainage lines as required.
- Implement preventive maintenance procedures on equipment and facilities.
- Operate various machinery and tools to repair the necessary items.
- Utilize specific software to requisition parts and equipment for repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as directed by supervisors or relevant management personnel.
Skill Set:
- A two or four-year technical degree in electronics, mechanical, or HVAC is preferred.
- At least three years of work experience in a related field.
- Ability to understand and utilize test equipment such as VOMs, current clamps, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic devices.
- Preferred experience in specific equipment.
- Proficient in computer use, with good math and reading skills; ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Flexibility to work shifts requested.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Capability to stand for extended durations and frequently lift to 50 pounds.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
