Hot new search for a Sr. Chemist or Chemical Engineer for a key diversified industrial near Chicago Heights, IL. This position plays a key role in the R&D and NPD efforts for thin/web coating applications, gravure printing, reverse printing, ink batch, flexo and solvent & UV Chemistry systems. Background in polymer chemistry highly preferred. This is a hands on role for a team oriented hands on chemical professional who enjoys the freedom to develop new chemical products and processes and taking ownership of project management for assigned projects. Prior experience working thin coatings exp - films of .5 – 1 mil and coatings of 1 – 10 microns - on polyester films preferred. Travel 10 - 20%.
