In this leadership role, you will oversee a dynamic portfolio of data science products within the Generative AI function, focusing on innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and deployment of a wide range of algorithmic products, harnessing the power of data science, machine learning (ML), and artificial intelligence (AI) to create measurable business impact.
- Mentor and guide a team of data scientists, fostering best practices in coding standards, design patterns, testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Take a proactive role in hiring, onboarding, and retaining top talent, cultivating a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within your team.
- Actively participate in hands-on development, working on key internal projects that include machine learning models, numerical optimization, statistical testing, API development for ML services, and real-time event data processing.
- Oversee the team’s research agenda, ensuring the successful delivery of algorithmic products that align with business needs and goals.
- Stay at the forefront of emerging trends and advancements in data science, applying the latest research and methodologies to drive innovation and solve complex business challenges.
- Present research findings and insights to internal stakeholders, leading discussions on the impact of advanced analytics and modeling approaches.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders and machine learning engineers, to ensure seamless integration and execution of algorithmic solutions.
- Provide strategic recommendations for data science solutions, assessing risk, and determining the most effective models to address a variety of business problems.
- Continuously monitor and report on the business impact of AI initiatives, with a focus on ethical and responsible data science practices.
- Demonstrate strategic leadership and innovative thinking, influencing decisions across all levels of the organization.
