Job Description
As a Python Developer at AIBE, you will work directly under the guidance of our Chief Technology Officer, contributing to the design, development, and deployment of web applications and internal tools. You will play a critical role in building and maintaining scalable, responsive web interfaces, databases, and data pipelines. Our team encourages creativity and continuous learning, offering mentorship and opportunities to work on diverse projects.
What You'll Do
- Develop high-quality web applications and software solutions.
- Design and implement APIs.
- Review and debug code, ensuring high standards of quality.
- Document your work thoroughly.
- Contribute clean, clear, and reliable production code.
- Write unit and integration tests.
- Research and recommend new technologies to enhance our products.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a candidate who possesses:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- A passion for continuous learning and teaching.
- Self-motivation and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Python, with significant project work or recent experience.
- Database skills, with either RDBMS or NoSQL back ends.
- Proficiency with version control tools like Git.
- Familiarity with front-end development.

- Energy, enthusiasm, and a results-oriented attitude.
- Ability to balance immediate needs with long-term scalability considerations.
Nice to Have
Candidates with the following qualifications are preferred:
- Experience with Wix Studio and Velo programming.
- Proficiency in GCP.
- Experience with MongoDB.
- Familiarity with DevOps and Agile methodologies.
- Web scraping experience.
- Basic Linux operating system understanding.
- Automated software testing and continuous integration experience.
- Knowledge of Docker, GitHub, and CI/CD.
- Experience with Airflow.
- Knowledge of Selenium, Requests, BeautifulSoup, Pandas, NumPy, and PyTorch.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
- Lives in the Pacific or Central Timezone and is willing to work during pacific time.
