Finance Analyst – Hialeah – Onsite – Up to $85,000 per annum – Strong growth opportunities
This is an urgent requirement and due to the turnaround required applicants will ideally be based in Miami-Dade/Broward Counties.
An successful and growth centric, owner managed organization in Hialeah, have an opening for a Financial Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a newly created position due to expansion and has a clear progression path in place.
The compensation on offer is a base of $85,000 per annum, plus medical (including dental and vision) which is 85% covered, a discretionary bonus (around 7% of salary), PTO plus other company specific benefits.
The Finance Analyst role will report directly to the CFO and duties will include:
- Supporting the monthly close process including analysis of the financial statements (GAAP) and departmental performance
- Working with the CFO to complete the GL close including journal entries, prepayments and accruals
- Seeking ways to drive efficiency through Excel modelling, utilizing finance systems and AI
- Production of monthly internal reports identifying opportunities and areas of improvements – including dashboards
- Partnering key stakeholders and departments to articulate financial performance and understanding reporting requirements
- Completion of monthly account reconciliations
- Fixed asset accounting tasks
- Support the wider finance team to complete the monthly close process
- Work with the CFO to prepare the annual audit process
- Ad hoc analysis and reporting when required
The ideal profile will have:
- A Bachelor’s degree within a finance or accounting discipline
- 2 years’ experience within a finance/accounting position
- Strong Excel and system skills (at least Vlookup and Pivot tables)
- An enthusiasm to utilizing systems and Excel to build process and drive efficiency
- Have a passion for career growth and development
- Be willing to work onsite in Hialeah
- Strong communication skills and the ability to articulate financial information to operational management and teams
- Have an understanding of accounting duties including journal entries
This is a rare opportunity for a Financial Analyst to join a medium sized organization where there is a clear progression path, with promotions expected within 12-18 months.
