Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic Sales Director with a strong background in the building aluminum products to lead our sales efforts and drive growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in larger companies ($100 million+) focusing on residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals, focusing on direct sales to contractors and wholesale distribution.
- Leverage experience in product management and marketing to enhance our offerings and support sales initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively with private equity partners to align on strategic objectives and growth opportunities.
- Lead by example as a hands-on leader, fostering a high-performance culture within the sales team.
Must-Haves:
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience.
- Direct sales experience with contractors and familiarity with wholesale distribution channels.
- Background in building products, with knowledge of market trends and customer needs.
- Product management and/or marketing experience, ideally with a focus on sales enablement.
- Desired balance of 80% sales responsibilities and 10-20% marketing/product marketing involvement.
- Ability to travel 50%.
