MUST HAVES:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3+ years of experience in Records Management or related field
- 1+ years of managerial experience; preferably in a law firm or other professional services firm
- Record Management Database experience
Plusses:
- Experience with iManage Records or FileTrail (record management databases)
Day to day:
The Records Manager is responsible for all aspects of records management and processes, including electronic and physical file maintenance in one or more offices. This position requires the individual to be a subject matter expert in Records Operations and to actively assist with and oversee the records team’s daily work activities. This individual will have 3 direct reports located in the Chicago office, and will be responsible in ensuring they meet company goals day to day and that it is done effectively and accurately. Additionally, the Records Manager will be in constant communication with business directors and individuals outside of the organization, so it is important that they are presentable, professional, and personable.
