Job Description:
The Site Security Manager serves as a subject matter expert (SME) and performs quality control for the customer, ensuring the construction site remains secure throughout the construction process. An SSM is a required role in order to have an accredited SCI or SAP facility. SSM is one of the first steps in the construction security process.
Applying this resource correctly to manage stakeholders, develop the CSP, and manage necessary approvals before the construction design is issued for construction contractor bid is one of the keys to the project's success. The SSM understands the sixteen (16) standard divisions of construction and must have knowledge of technical listening devices commonly used by foreign intelligence services.
Our team has been hired to find a Site Security Manager for a client at their El Segundo location.
Job Requirements/Experience:
- Must have at least ten (10) years of security experience specifically related SCIF construction, Intelligence Operations, Counter-Intelligence Operations, Counter- Surveillance Operations, Technical Surveillance Counter-Measures, Physical Security, or a combination of these experiences.
- Must have at least five (5) years of direct experience working on ICD-705 construction projects or working as a Physical Security Special Security Officer (SSO).
- Direct experience for the SSM means working at the project location as a CST, SSC, or SSM.
- Must hold a valid certificate for the successful completion of a Thirty-Two (32) Hour or greater Site Security Manager (SSM) Training Course.
- Must hold a valid certificate for the successful completion of a Forty (40) Hour or greater CST Training Course.
- Must have a good understanding of the ICD/ICS-705 as demonstrated by experience working on at least three (3) separate ICD-705 projects.
- Proficiency (at least 3 years) in the following software: MS office suite of tools required, especially Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. MS Access is desired, PDF, LiveLink, and SharePoint.
Security Clearance Required: In-scope investigation with Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) - ICD 704 eligibility. Secret clearance with ability to obtain TS/SCI is acceptable.
