Job Description: Field Service Engineer (FSE) - Computed Tomography (CT) Diagnostic Imaging
Position Overview: The Customer Service Engineer (CSE) is an adept technical service professional dedicated to servicing AIS customer’s CT diagnostic imaging equipment. This role requires a proactive approach in delivering technical solutions, fostering strong customer relationships, and maintaining the impeccable functioning of CT imaging equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Account Management:
- Proactively perform Preventative Maintenance on designated CT imaging equipment.
- Diagnose, repair, and ensure functional system inspections.
- Document parts and sub-components to facilitate alternative sourcing.
- Maintain service logs and generate internal service reports.
- Engage in daily communications with customers, ensuring thorough follow-up and high levels of satisfaction.
- Handle service delivery issues, conducting root cause analysis for effective problem-solving.
- Collaborate with national and local teams for seamless service delivery.
- Spot and engage in hidden growth opportunities and sales initiatives such as contract renewals.
- Contribute to the promotion and implementation of AIS growth programs.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Toshiba CT and other OEM CTs (preferred).
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing CT diagnostic imaging equipment.
- Strong analytical, technical, and communication skills.
- Experience in managing customer concerns professionally.
- Familiarity with Microsoft products and online applications.
- Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Educational & Experience Requirements:
- Associates Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
- 4+ years in servicing CT diagnostic imaging equipment OR 10 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with telecommunication, DICOM, and networking systems (advantageous).
Travel & Other Requirements:
- Travel: 30% - 60% including potential overnight and weekend trips.
- 24x7 availability on phone or pager; rotating on-call duty.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record.
- Ability to carry/pull equipment up to 100 lbs (assistance provided over 50 lbs) and manage up to 40 lbs of test/tool equipment.
- Physical agility with frequent bends, stoops, and the ability to work in unique positions. Occasional ladder or scaffolding work might be required.
- Potential exposure to healthcare environment risks.

Compensation: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 per year
