LOGISTICS PROJECT MANAGER
Summary
We are in search of a dedicated Manager-Level Logistics Project Manager to lead and coordinate logistics projects within our organization. The successful candidate will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of logistics-related projects, ensuring seamless operations and timely completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in logistics management and project management, with a keen focus on optimizing processes and bolstering supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple logistics projects concurrently, overseeing project planning, execution, and ongoing progress monitoring as an intermediary liaison
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables aligned with organizational goals
- Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets, and monitor progress against established milestones
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to ensure seamless project execution
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, providing regular progress reports and addressing any concerns or inquiries
- Monitor and analyze project performance metrics and KPIs, identifying opportunities for process improvement and optimization
Requirement
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field; PMP certification is a plus
Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics management or project management, preferably in the logistics industry; Experience in Process Innovation is a plus
Strong understanding of logistics operations, supply chain processes, and transportation management
Excellent presentation, communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and software applications
Solid organizational and time management abilities, with a focus on prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and resolving complex logistics challenges
Experience with logistics software and systems (e.g., WMS, TMS, ERP) is preferred
