Key Account Sales Manager
Position Purpose
- In this Key Account role, you will be responsible for expanding and managing sales opportunities through existing channels & direct customers. Also, developing new channel opportunities (distribution, system integrators) and direct customers within large Key Accounts.
- Key Competencies/Behaviors/Strengths
- Manage accounts and provide solutions to meet customers’ specifications and applications. Solution Selling
- Development of new specifications
- Coordinate with customers and BABG/Delta Engineering Team. This aspect is [crucial for maintaining strong customer relationships and ensuring product satisfaction].
- Promote Product Solutions and increase revenue to achieve budget
- Provided customer assistance with applications, specifications, and quality challenges.
- Support Market analysis on new product solutions, new markets, and developments throughout the industry and supports Company and product promotions at industry trade shows and conferences
Job Qualifications Include
- Bachelor's Degree in Business with a minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in Telecom, IT, HVAC, Video Surveillance, or LED Lighting.
- BSEE or BSME background is a plus. An MBA is a plus. Strong background working with Architects, Mechanical Engineering Firms, Facility Managers
- Communication Skills: Ability to understand a customer's needs and investigate a need for answers, determine a solution, and advocate that solution to the customer.
- Effective Presentation Skills
- Knowledge of using Microsoft Office-Power Point, Excel, and Word
- Ability to travel out of state and country as needed
- Results-oriented with a strong sense of initiative in tackling tasks
