Trustpoint One is pleased to assist an AmLaw 200 law firm in its search for an Associate Attorney to join the Litigation Practice Group of the Chicago office. The attorney will work primarily on toxic tort matters. Missouri and Illinois licenses are required.
Position responsibilities include:
- Responsible for day-to-day tasks as well as the strategic process of case management for asbestos and toxic tort matters.
- Attend depositions, settlement conferences, and other hearings.
- Prepare motions, discovery responses, client reports.
- Assist in trial preparation including strategy, discovery, records review, client interview, and witness preparation.
Qualifications include:
- 5+ years of litigation experience in the areas of asbestos and/or toxic torts related issues.
- Extensive witness, party and expert deposition practice is preferred.
- Superior analytical writing, and excellent communication skills required.
All candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of time.
