About the Role
We are seeking a Founding Engineer / Full-Stack Generalist who can quickly develop MVPs and coding solutions while also thinking about how to build in a scalable way for long-term growth. You'll be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, leveraging our current data platform and building infrastructure that balances rapid development with future scalability. As our first technical hire, you will play a key role in shaping my client’s technical infrastructure, combining hands-on execution with high-level strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full-Stack Development: Build and deploy MVPs from the ground up, working on both front-end and back-end development with an eye on future scalability.
- Front-End Engineering: Implement user-facing features and responsive interfaces using modern web technologies.
- Back-End Engineering: Develop server-side functionality, including database management, business logic, and API development.
- Prototyping and MVP Development: Rapidly create prototypes for internal testing and rollout to various stakeholders, ensuring both immediate and long-term solutions.
- Data Platform Management: Build and manage scalable data pipelines and infrastructure using relevant technologies.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the founding team to ensure technical solutions align with business goals, contributing to immediate product needs and long-term strategy.
- Scalability Focus: Develop solutions that evolve from quick MVPs to scalable systems that can handle more complex use cases as the company grows.

Required Skills and Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in full-stack engineering, ideally within the healthtech sector or related fields.
- Familiarity with healthcare standards and regulations, including data privacy and security protocols.
- Proven ability to quickly build and launch MVPs while maintaining a focus on scalability.
- Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) and back-end technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python).
- Ability to design/manage databases (i.e. AWS, dbt, Snowflake, Tuva Health, etc.) and develop APIs.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks to ensure application reliability and security.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability, with a focus on innovative, long-term solutions.
- Effective communication skills, capable of explaining technical concepts to diverse teams.
- Strong familiarity with cloud technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
