Qualified Mental Health Professional
Full time, days.
Duties:
- Provide assistance in maintaining or improving functioning when necessary to help a client achieve a rehabilitation goal as defined in the treatment plan.
- Assist clients in gaining access to needed medical, social/behavioral, educational, and additional required services and supports.
- Provide community-based case management activities to clients or to the LAR on behalf of the client, where applicable.
- Submit accurate, legible and complete client progress notes within 48 hours of delivering the service.
- Understands, acknowledges and agrees to adhere to Medicaid.
- Provide Medication training F6 support services that consist of education and guidance about medications and their possible side effects.
- Provide Skills training and development services to an eligible individual school age child, Such training will address Severe emotional disturbance or SED and symptom-related problems that interfere with the individual functioning and learning environment.
- Provide Crisis intervention services and interventions in response to a crisis to reduce or manage symptoms of a SED and to prevent admission of an individual to a more restrictive environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree. Degrees can be in Psychology, Social Work, Medicine, Nursing or RN, Rehabilitation, Counseling, Sociology, Human growth and Development, Physician Assistant, Gerontology, Special Education, Educational Psychology, Early childhood Education, Early Childhood Intervention.
- Must be Bilingual English Spanish to communicate with clients.
