- Support & Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor network performance and address connectivity issues. Diagnose and resolve network problems by coordinating with vendors on equipment like routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Project Management: Participate in network-related projects, including system upgrades, expansions, and new technology rollouts. Ensure projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
- Vendor Coordination: Collaborate with external vendors for installation and maintenance of networking equipment, including but not limited to routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Documentation & Reporting: Prepare documentation for network designs, changes, and issue resolutions. Provide network analysis reports and ensure accuracy for future troubleshooting and audits.
- Training & Knowledge Sharing: Conduct training sessions for internal teams on network procedures and troubleshooting. Assist with proposal writing and provide technical input during business reviews and vendor assessments.
- Project Planning & Cost Analysis: Conduct project planning activities, including cost analysis, vendor comparisons, and return on investment (ROI) assessments for network-related projects. Ensure cost-effective network designs while maintaining top-tier performance.
- Client-Focused Engagement: Work closely with internal teams and potentially external clients, ensuring network requirements are aligned with business goals. Support professional services and outsourcing functions when necessary.
