Nathan James Consulting are recruiting for a Sales Manager for a leading downhole technology company who are looking for someone to spearhead the roll-out of a new cloud-based data analytics platform across the Western Hemisphere.
This is a new role that has been created due to anticipated growth, and is also a chance for someone to take a "first to market" solution to prospective customers. Whilst this is initially an individual contributor sales role, it is anticipated that this individual will be growing a team once revenue starts to be generated, so is a fantastic opportunity for someone to put their stamp on a new product line.
Successful applicants will have extensive sales experience within software sales or data analytics within the oilfield services sector, ideally in areas such as geoscience or drilling related data. You'll be comfortable with identifying and prospecting with Completions and Production teams and presenting solutions to them. Experience of managing sales teams is also beneficial given the plans for the business.
Please note that this is a brand new position. Consequently, the successful applicant must be comfortable with developing and then successfully executing a sales strategy from scratch. There are no existing accounts to manage so you must be comfortable with developing new business.
