Position Title: Real Estate Analyst

As we continue to scale, we are seeking a detail-oriented Real Estate Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in driving our national expansion.
Position Summary:
The Real Estate Analyst will assist in the data-driven decision-making process to help secure new store locations and manage the performance of our real estate portfolio. This role is ideal for someone looking to work in a fast-paced environment, performing in-depth market and financial analysis, preparing reports and presentations, and collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders. The position requires a full-time, in-office commitment at our office conveniently located near The Battery in Atlanta. Travel may be required up to 15% of the time for market tours and site visits. We are looking for candidates willing to start as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Analytics & Research: Analyze real estate markets using demographic, economic, and competitive data to identify ideal locations for expansion. Use analytical tools to assess market opportunities and store performance.
- Report Preparation: Prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders to support site selection, lease negotiations, and strategic decision-making.
- Lease Review & Abstracting: Assist in the review and abstraction of lease agreements to ensure terms align with SweatHouz’s financial and operational goals.
- Site Selection & Market Tours: Work with brokers and real estate teams to assess potential sites, participate in market tours, and create site comparison reports.
- Deal Negotiation Support: Provide analytical support during lease negotiations, ensuring the best possible terms are achieved for new locations.
- Presentation Development: Compile insights, financial projections, and market data into clear, compelling presentations for internal review and landlord discussions.
- Portfolio Management: Track and analyze the performance of existing locations, identifying opportunities to optimize leases or evaluate potential relocation or expansion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, business, data analytics, or a related field.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome to apply; experience in commercial real estate, data analysis, or retail is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel (financial modeling) and data visualization tools preferred.
- Ability to synthesize data and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to work in-office, full-time with the real estate and management teams.
- Familiarity with real estate software (e.g., CoStar, LoopNet) is an advantage but not required.
