Looking for a talented Controller to oversee the financial operations during their growth period.
The experienced Controller will have a strong background in financial management, inventory and cost accounting, and ERP systems. You will play a key role in managing month-end close, reconciliations, and improving overall financial processes. This is a hands-on role with leadership responsibilities, offering the chance to significantly impact the financial function as the company scales.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of month-end close, including financial reporting, reconciliations, and compliance with GAAP.
- Manage the financial operations for multiple entities, including intercompany transactions and consolidations.
- Inventory and cost accounting: Manage and resolve variances between financial and on-hand inventory.
- Lead and mentor the teamb.
- Utilize ERP systems to streamline financial processes and ensure system accuracy.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support business growth strategies.
- Ensure GAAP compliance and provide tax-related expertise as needed.
- Collaborate with external consultants to address and resolve ERP system issues.
Qualifications:
- CPA certification is required.
- Proven experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller, ideally in a growing organization.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience in financial reporting.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems.
- Expertise in inventory management and cost accounting.
- Ability to lead and mentor financial teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
