Overview
Service Technician for a growing Commercial Heating, Air Conditioning and Plumbing Contractor
Responsibilities
The primary function of this position is to provide Technical Service Expertise in the following:
· Attitude: Promote a positive work environment for everyone you come in contact with
- Perform Preventative Maintenance and Service Diagnostics of Commercial HVAC Equipment and assist with Equipment Installation
- Maintain a positive attitude and eagerness to improve
- Consistently deliver satisfactory customer service experiences by offering knowledge, advice, and answering questions and concerns
- Complete timecard and service entries at the completion of calls
- Keep a safe and clean workspace at all times
- Communicate potential problems and solutions with service manager
- Properly diagnosis electrical and mechanical issues
- Assist with Commercial HVAC and Plumbing construction work as needed
- Special projects as needed
Qualifications
- Positive attitude
- Ability to get along well with all types of personalities
- Ability to diffuse difficult situations quickly as they arise
- Excellent troubleshooting skills
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- 5+ years of experience in the HVAC trade field preferred
- EPA Certification
- Organized and efficient
- Strong customer service, communication and time-management skills
- Problem-solving attitude with attention to detail
- Works well under pressure and manages stressful situations with ease
- Takes pride in a job well done
- Ability to get along well with all types of personalities
- Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills

- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Calls are scheduled Monday through Friday 7am – 4pm but emergency calls may be required on Saturdays or after normal business hours. Schedule flexibility is required during peak seasons
