Our client, a boutique personal injury and police misconduct firm, is on the lookout for an experienced Personal Injury & Litigation Paralegal to join their dynamic team. With multiple awards under its belt for Best Lawyer and a track record of handling high-profile cases, this firm is offering an exciting opportunity to work on meaningful, impactful cases.
In this role, you’ll:
- Interface directly with clients to discuss case details, secure HIPAA releases, and manage Plaintiff document productions
- Order medical records and handle document retrieval (from social media, cell phones, emails, etc.)
- Maintain calendars, set hearing dates, and manage trial schedules
- Assist in case workup and move cases along toward trial
- Draft pleadings, discovery demands, and prepare responsive documents for discovery/subpoena requests
- E-file pleadings and manage electronic service of discovery
- Summarize depositions, medical records, and incoming discovery
- Analyze medical records and prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, and witness files
- Dive into discovery documents, transcripts, and more for key information
What you need to bring:
- At least 5 years of Personal Injury Paralegal experience
- A BA and Paralegal Certificate
- A passion for what you do and a stable work history
