Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs
- Prepare detailed estimates with associated unit cost
- Collaborate with precon team on developing conceptual cost models
- Prepare detailed bid scopes and bid manuals
- Develop and present budget and value engineering ideas to the team
- Manage bidders list and communicate with subcontractors
- Assist with subcontractor scope reviews
- Collaborate with precon team on subcontractor prequalification and risk underwriting
- Work both collaboratively and independently with precon and project management teams
- Identify plan discrepancies and conduct constructability reviews of project documents
- Assist with construction timelines and scheduling parameters
Qualifications
- Have a working knowledge of construction costs
- One year of field experience and 2-3 years of estimating experience, in the commercial construction industry
- Fluency in reading plans, specifications, and related project documents
- Key competencies are communication, teamwork, dependability, and attention to detail
Education
Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical degree

- Required: MS Office, BlueBeam, On-Screen Takeoff, Sage Estimating, Smart Bid,
- Desirable; Togal Ai, P6 Scheduling, AgTek, others
