Position Summary
The Bakery Technology Administrator is directly responsible for updating and supporting Nothing Bundt Cakes bakery systems. This position will report to the Director of IT Services while also taking direction from the Senior Bakery Technology Manager. These systems include, but not limited to, point of sale, manager workstation, display boards, online ordering, email account administration, and bakery network infrastructure. Duties include software and hardware support, configuration management, quality assurance, and general user support. Nothing Bundt Cakes is poised for aggressive growth in new and existing markets, and we are seeking motivated and dedicated professionals to be industry leaders.
Accountabilities/Duties:
- Technical Support: Provide first-line support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues promptly.
- Incident Management: Utilize ITIL best practices to manage and resolve incidents, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- Service Request Management: Handle service requests efficiently, ensuring they are logged, tracked, and resolved within agreed service levels.
- Problem Management: Identify recurring issues and work with the IT team to implement permanent solutions.
- Change Management: Assist in the planning and implementation of IT changes, ensuring compliance with ITIL change management processes.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, service requests, and changes in the IT service management system.
- User Training: Provide training and support to end-users to enhance their understanding and use of IT systems.
- Continuous Improvement: Participate in the continuous improvement of IT services by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing best practices.
- Set up and maintain corporate POS lab environment
- Participate in on-call support rotation as needed

Skills and Requirements:
- 2+ years of Toast POS Administration experience required
- Versed in POS database management including, including but not limited to site setup, menu creation, promotion configuration, and pricing methodologies required
- Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and best practices.
- Proficiency in using IT service management tools and software
- Networking skills related to typical restaurant/retail environments required
- Excellent interpersonal skills related to supporting customers in need required
- 2+ years restaurant/retail management experience preferred
- 2+ years college education preferred
