Job Summary:
As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for overseeing customer order fulfillment, stock accuracy by Distribution Center, transportation planning and invoice management. You’ll develop great relationships with our suppliers to encourage on-time shipment and delivery to customers.
Your key indicators will be 3PL Performance, On Time & In Full Deliveries and Vendor Compliance. You are reliable, analytical, flexible, service oriented with exceptional attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the movement of goods from manufacturing locations through delivery to customers, ensuring on-time delivery compliance
- Collaborate with planners and DC inbounds team to provide visibility to inbound container shipments, and delivery scheduling
- Vendor Compliance: Support department in reviewing and analyzing customer invoice deductions (specifically fines related to late shipments, missing or incorrect labels and carton shortages). Identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Dispute customer invoice deductions
- Oversee weekly invoice payment processing. Conduct analysis and audit of 3PL and carrier invoices ensuring accuracy, escalate discrepancies for speedy resolution
- Reviews Customer Guides to ensure eos meets customer requirements and avoids associated penalties that could result from non-compliance. Seek continuous improvement
- Communicate critical information transportation, warehousing and supply chain departments promptly. Collaborate with these groups to refine processes impacting overall service performance
- Maintains master data in the 3PL WMS system related to item and vendor codes, product life cycle, location consolidation, packaging and storage specifications
- Monitor and Update daily and weekly scorecards for all Order to Delivery, Transportation and Warehouse KPIs
- Run master data quality checks to identify maintenance issues in SAP B1 and 3PL tools. Forward Parameter Accuracy results to different teams, and define & track corrective actions
- Reviews Customer Guides to ensure eos meets customer requirements and avoids associated penalties that could result from non-compliance
- Success KPIs:
- OTIF (on time and in full)
- Cost-To-Serve (fulfillment, transportation and deductions)
- Master Data Accuracy
- Inventory Accuracy
Experience, Education, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or related job experience
- 1-2 years’ experience in Planning, Transportation, or warehousing
- Intermediate SAP user
- Advanced excel user
- English Proficient
- Data manipulation, analytical
- Communication skills
- Able to efficiently and effectively build and handle multiple relationships
- Able to drive a cross functional team for a solution
- Sense of urgency and “Can do” approach
