Reporting to: Design Director
Brand/Product Focus: Sports Licensing | Menswear
Location (On-Site): New York City, Midtown Manhattan – Fashion District
Graphic Designer | Sports Licensing
Research:
- Stay current on trends, new techniques, and resources in graphic and print design
- Identify relevant trends for each season and present new Color & Concept ideas
- Communicate with factories to stay abreast and develop new techniques
Allover Prints (aka CAD design):
- Identify brand and trend right prints that will work in upcoming seasons
- Interpret allover prints to fit each delivery by resizing, tweaking, and recoloring
- Make sure all prints sit together in each delivery harmoniously, and that they fit the overarching theme
- Execute prints and graphics to be ready for factory (color separating, repeating, technique, and color pitch) using Adobe Photoshop
Communication:
- Track print development and comment on samples and strike-offs promptly for correct execution
- Partner with the Legal Department to ensure that designs are not trademarked and can be utilized
Qualifications
- Bachelors- preferably in Print Design/Graphic Design
- Proficient in Photoshop and Illustrator
- 2+ years of previous work experience

The hourly range for this position is $30-50/hour
