About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated civil litigation attorney with strong personal injury or discovery experience to join our team. This role involves handling litigation in both State and Federal courts, with responsibilities that span from case assessment through trial preparation. The ideal candidate will have full case-handling experience, including discovery, depositions, and trial work, and be able to independently manage a significant caseload. You will work closely with clients and other attorneys, contributing to a culture of mentorship and teamwork.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a caseload of civil litigation and personal injury cases.
- Conduct case assessments, respond to discovery requests, and prepare litigation documents.
- Take and defend depositions, argue motions, and develop trial strategies.
- Work collaboratively with team members, contributing to trial preparation and client communication.
- Participate in settlement negotiations, ensuring effective advocacy for clients.
Qualifications:
- 2-6 years of civil litigation or personal injury experience (plaintiff or defense).
- Proven ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.
- Strong verbal, written communication, and analytical skills.
- Admitted to practice in California, with a strong preference for candidates in good standing with the CA State Bar.
- Experience in products liability and trial work is a plus.
