Pay Rate: $40 per hour

Job Description:
We are looking for a motivated Junior Data Analyst with a focus on MySQL to join our data analytics team. In this role, you will support the team by analyzing data, preparing reports, and ensuring the integrity of the database systems. You will work closely with different departments to understand their data needs and provide meaningful insights that drive business decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Extraction & Analysis: Utilize MySQL to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets.
- Reporting & Visualization: Prepare detailed reports and data visualizations to present findings to key stakeholders.
- Database Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity in MySQL databases by performing regular audits and data quality checks.
- Data Queries: Write complex SQL queries to gather specific data for analysis and troubleshooting.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven insights.
- Automation: Assist in creating automated solutions for recurring reporting needs.
- Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of processes, queries, and results for future reference.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a strong focus on MySQL.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MySQL (query writing, database management, data manipulation).
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in other database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server) is a plus.
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data analysis.
- Experience in data cleaning, normalization, and transformation processes.
