The final salary or hourly wage, as applicable, paid to each candidate/applicant for this position is ultimately dependent on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s/applicant’s qualifications, skills, and level of experience as well as the geographical location of the position.

Our client is seeking an Oracle SAP DBA in Atlanta,Overland, Bellevue, Frisco.
Skills & Requirements
Required skills:
• Designs, develops, and supports applications using products like Oracle, MS SQL Server, DB2 and Teradata would fall under this role. Basic tasks include Installation and configuration of Databases, back up, restoring databases, setting up High Availability, Disaster recovery, performance tuning, RAC administration etc.
• Administer and troubleshoot complex Oracle database systems in SAP environment.
• ·Provide Development and Production support for SAP Oracle databases monitoring and maintenance using SAP BR Tools.
• Responsible for installing/upgrading and maintaining the database software, building storage structures, setting up user accounts, troubleshooting, producing backups, and regularly managing database security.
• Monitor and optimize performance of the database, plan for backup and recovery of the database, and allocate system storage and plan future storage needs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to contribute to continuous improvements.
• SQL troubleshooting, tuning and query optimization.
• Develop, implement, and manage database security policies and procedures to guarantee a seamless and successful flow of activities.
• Advanced understanding of database backup and recovery and performance monitoring requirements.
• Knowledge of Oracle Real Application Clusters (RAC), ASM, OEM and Active Data Guard.
• Large table Partitioning, table re-organization and performing objects optimization.
• Database, schema and table refreshes from production to staging environment.
• AIX/Linux/UNIX experience, shell scripting for setup monitoring alerts, system health check.
• Work closely with Development team members to guarantee database operation and integrity.
• Create database-related scripts and programs to support development and production environments.
• DR drill activities, restore point creations.
• Responsible for database Audit tasks and SOX controls
