RN (Occupational Health) Worker’s Compensation.
Looking for a Monday through Friday Job, 7am to 3:30pm job opportunity? Goodwill Industries is seeking an Occupational Health, RN to join the team. The ideal candidate must have the following qualification:
- Manage Workers’ Compensation Program and provide quality case management services in a cost effective manner.
- Review case records and reports.
- Responsible to maintain regular communication with injured employees, attorney, medical providers and third party administrator.
- Manages Modified Duty Program.
- Prepares OSHA 300 logs, reports and all other required documentation.
- Attend claim reviews as required.
- Testify in litigated workers’ compensation cases, if necessary.
- Performs collection and screening of post offer/pre-placement, random drug testing, and reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing.
- Provides first aid care for ill and/or injured personnel and persons served.
- Performs post offer/pre-placement nursing interview and evaluations.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of Wellness Program.
- All other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience:
BS Degree in nursing plus 2 years experience in the Occupational Health field is preferred.
FL RN License in good standing required.
Must have BLS Certification.
COHN Certification highly desirable. Certified Case Management preferred.
Must have prior experience in Case Management of Worker’s Compensation program.
Knowledge of OSHA, ADA, HIPPA and FMLA laws and regulations.
Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel required
Bilingual (English/Spanish) desirable.
