Compensation:
$35/hr to $40/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. JOB DESCRIPTION
Insight Global is looking for a Field Service Technician to support their customers in the Dallas Fort Worth area. This person will be responsible for service tasks related to audiovisual and video teleconferencing equipment. This person will be providing support for network devices, and control programs. A successful person in this role can upload programs to AV systems, has knowledge and experience with network devices and IP configuration and the ability to provide user support and troubleshooting for any necessary equipment and systems.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
3+ years of experience with service support to AV, conference room and network devices (routers, IP networks and protocols, etc). Experience with installation of control programs like (Crestron, Extron, AMX, etc.) Ability to upload code and programs to AV systems. Ability to setup and troubleshoot various AV and video teleconferencing systems.
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
AVIXA CTS certification Formal Education in Electronics or a related field Experience with VTC equipment and solutions. Certification in any of the following (Crestron, Extron, QSC, Biamp, Dante, AMX, etc.)
