Our client, a software company located in Boston, is seeking an Office Manager. This is a temporary opportunity and can compensate up to $24/hr. depending on experience. Qualified candidates are encouraged to apply today for immediate consideration!
Responsibilities:
- Greet and offer general support to executives, clients and all team members who visit the office. Maintain a safe and secure working environment.
- Ensure a smooth operation of our multiple offices, daily activities, and oversee the operations networks organization network systems.
- Oversee regular maintenance of office equipment and facilities and arrange for repairs. Optimize office space to accommodate growth.
- Organize office operations and procedures, including filing systems, order office supplies, and oversee general office appearance and maintenance.
- Coordinate and schedule conference rooms and catering for individuals or team meetings.
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, landlords, office budget, ensuring that all items are invoiced and paid on time.
- Liaise with facility management vendors, including cleaning, catering, and security services. Assist with planning in-house or off-site activities, like parties, celebrations, and conferences.
- Manage team security access via building property management.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in a similar type of role.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with all employees - Customer Service.
- Problem solving and attention to detail to ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly.
- Proven ability to collaborate with employees across all levels of the organization.
- Organizational skills and the ability to multitask to complete a wide variety of tasks.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions, and handle vendor contracts, among other tasks.
- Flexibility to help team members adjust to new processes should company or office needs change.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both in a team environment and self-directed.
- Adaptability and Flexibility.
