Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a global manufacturing client to recruit and hire a CAD Manager in Nashville, TN.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise, direct, and mentor CAD department.
- Provide training on advanced CAD/SolidWorks techniques, ensuring proficiency and best practices in modeling, drafting, and design
- Manage and implement Engineering Change Requests and maintain accurate PLM documentation.
- Manage the documentation and design process for new products, ensuring designs are accurate and compliant
- Create detailed assembly and component drawings using 3D CAD software
- Perform validation and quality assurance functions to ensure the final product meets design specifications and functions correctly.
- Support other departments and assist with new product design and prototype development.
- Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 3+ years of relevant experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks (2D/3D), SAP, ERP, and MRP systems.
- Strong technical and mathematical skills.
